Our RTV driving day was a great success! Sixty invited guests enjoyed a wonderfully sunny day playing in the mud at Rockingham Castle putting our fleet of RTVs to the test.
With a range of vehicles to drive and different courses to experience guests were able to see for themselves the abilities of the Kubota RTV. As James Counsell an exiting customer pointed out: “It was enormously valuable to be able to try the full range of these remarkable vehicles in such demanding surroundings, and to talk to other customers. It is this investment in pre-service that really makes Euromec stand out from the crowd. Plus, the chilli was delicious!”
Yes the food was excellent and the hospitality arrangements seemed to be just right for the day. A biting wind kept the clouds away and also increased demand for hot drinks, not that Sarah and her helpers ever looked under pressure.
Andrew Harding of Qube Management attended: “Qube Property Management has enjoyed a great relationship with Euromec for several years and have purchased a number of the Kubota RTV Vehicles from them for our client’s developments to mainly tow refuse bins from below ground storage area. We are delighted to be invited to test the vehicles in an off road capacity which is something none of our client’s vehicles ever do. So we had a great time testing them to their full ability! It was a great day and we will be recommending further vehicles purchases in 2014.”
This was the first such event we have run at Rockingham dedicated to the off road utility vehicles in our product range. Given the success and that a number of our other partners are interested in doing something similar it will not be the last. If you are interested in hearing about future events email email@example.com and ask to be put on our mailing list.
Together with Kubota we have organised a unique off-road driving experience at RockinghamCastle on the 14th November 2013. Featuring the whole range of the excellent Kubota RTVs this event is open to invited guests only so if you would like to come you need to let us know as soon as possible by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The object of the day is simple; we want to give all our guests the opportunity of driving at least one if not all four RTVs around the infamous Land Rover Experience track at RockinghamCastle.
Renown for its slippery slopes, deep gullies and adverse cambers this course will test the abilities of even the most experienced driver and will graphically illustrate the go-anywhere, cross-anything qualities of the RTV. There will be instructors there all day to ensure that everyone is safe and they will be happy to give one-to-one driving advice, time allowing.
Refreshments will be available all day together with a hot buffet. Proceedings start around 11.00 and will go on until around 4.00pm.
This unique experience is for invited guests only and numbers are limited, so email annie as soon as you can if you are interested in attending.
If you consider that £70 million worth of plant and agricultural equipment is stolen every year with 95% never being recovered it’s clear that agricultural machinery tracking is vitally important to protect your assets.
We have teamed with TRACKER and now offer specially designed tracking products for agricultural machinery and will fit tracking devices to customers machines prior to delivery when required. This simple and cost effective step can reduce your insurance premiums by up to 25% and significantly increases the chance of your getting your plant back if you are unlucky enough to be the victim of theft.
Farm equipment tracking allows you to receive alerts when vehicles or machinery is removed from your premises. This means you can alert the authorities more quickly giving them a head start in recovering your equipment. This gets you back to work faster and minimises disruption and loss of earnings, especially at crucial periods like harvest.
As a leading distributor of Kubota tractors and commercial mowers we see this as a great additional service we are offering our customers. Our partnership with Tracker will be officially unveiled at Burghley Horse Trials, the first weekend of September. Additional information is available on our website in the Kubota section.
As this is being written there are only 19 days until Burghley. Wow its come around quickly; is summer really over? As before we are going to be there with a wide range of relevant vehicles. Centre stage will be our range of Kubota RTVs. Recently expanded there are now four models to choose from with a variety of engine sizes, people carrying and load carrying capabilities. See us on stand B58 for more information and to kick their tyres so to speak.
Other machines on our lot will be a wide range of high quality ride-on mowers from Kubota, Stiga and Mountfield along with some Mountfield walk behinds. Also in attendance will be a few Kubota compact tractors and our RCM hard surface sweepers.
So treat yourself to a great day out – or even make a weekend of it and come visit us on stand B58, yes that’s stand B58. We will have refreshments and some very comfortable chairs for you to take a welcome break. See you there.
Recently we were doing some publicity shots for the Kubota RTV range we sell and this was one of the shots we got.
No It Didn’t
Despite what it looks like the RTV just carried on regardless of the deeper than anticipated rut. At the time it didn’t seem that dramatic but as the picture shows the water nearly covered the rear wheel and the RTV was pitched at a remarkable lean angle. Nicky, the driver seems quite calm too so all in a day’s work then! What a brilliant illustration of the capability of these machines.
The range of Kubota RTVs has been expanded so we are selling even more of these tough, versatile machines. If you want to know more then visit our website. We are presently adding some videos shot during the day so look out for more hills, ruts and muddy action, coming soon to a computer screen near you.
Whenever a totally new model comes along there is always a great deal of anticipation and excitement and the new Kubota RTVs are no exception. And now they’re here!
Four Wheel Drive
Small, light and agile the new Kubota RTV400 and RTV500 deliver exceptional performance and reliability in a compact size. Both machines have four wheel drive with selectable two wheel drive and differential lock plus disc brakes and independent suspension.
Different Strokes for Different Folks
Where the new machines differ is their engines and transmissions. One has a single cylinder air cooled motor, the other a twin cylinder water cooled motor. Both have fuel injection. The single cylinder motor is paired with continuously variable transmission (CVT) and an inertia clutch. The other machine has variable hydro transmission (VHT).
Comfortable and Safe
Whichever model you choose you can be assured of Kubota’s renown reliability, a comfortable cabin and standard rollover protection. You can specify either orange or camouflage paintwork and front guards to make your RTV match your needs precisely.
So new they are not on our website yet, so if you want to see one of these exciting machines in the metal then call us and we’ll arrange for it to happen.
We are at it again!! Our show programme carries on in June with two events on the same weekend. Firstly the Nottinghamshire Charity Country Fair in support of the GWCT on Saturday 29th June 2013 at North Lodge Farm, Widmerpool, Nottinghamshire, NG12 5QE. From there we move onto the Blaston Show on Sunday 30th June in Blaston Road, Slawston, Near Market Harborough. Follow these links (NCCF) and (BLASTON) to the organisers websites for directions.
Events attended this year include a tremendously successful début at the Brigstock International Horse Trials at Rockingham Castle. Then we moved on to the Rutland Show at Burley on the Hill for one day only on Sunday June 2nd.
Not to be confused with the Burghley as in horse trials in nearby Stamford, Burley on the Hill is famous as the wonderful house and grounds bought by Asil Nadir immediately prior to his company’s spectacular collapse. Now restored to its previous splendour the house and grounds make a wonderful setting for the most British of occasions.
At the Rutland Show we were on stand 22 with our range of mowers, tractors and powered machinery that is so popular with the farming and equestrian industries. As at Rockingham the centre of attention was our new range of Kubota RTVs (illustrated) which includes two new smaller models to cover the needs of most landowners and managers.
We are off to the Brigstock International Horse Trials at Rockingham Castle. The dates for your diary are 17th – 19th May 2013. As a sponsor we will of course be making a spectacle of ourselves and showing our vast range of ground care equipment. During the event two of our RTV’s will be used by the organisers to travel the course and generally stay on top of things.
Rockingham Castle will have a new course set in the beautiful Great Park overlooking the Welland Valley. It is currently under construction having been designed by Philip Herbert. Philip has a reputation for building imaginative and creative courses featuring jumps enjoyed by riders and spectators alike. His skills were honed on the international courses at Burghley.
The RTV Camo being used at the event
There will be something for everyone. For international riders there is a cross country course of the highest standard with challenging and exciting fences. Dressage, show jumping, entertainment for children in the form of a bouncy castle, climbing wall, animals and Xtreme Falconry will all be going on.
A good day out for equestrian sport lovers, the family and anyone who has never visited the fascinating Rockingham Castle. Put it in your diary and make a point of looking us up. Rockingham Castle is near Corby, its full postal address is: Rockingham Castle, Rockingham, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 8TH telephone :+44(0)1536 770240.
Whether it’s demanding daily professional use, or for your garden at home, ride-on mowers deliver unmatched performance, efficiency and finish whatever the size of the task. We handle a very wide range of products from three of the top manufacturers; Kubota, Stiga and Mountfield.
Reliable Ride-on Mowers
Why those manufacturers? Well we don’t only supply the products, we also support them and we know that these manufacturers produce the most reliable machines and that therefore they are the most cost effective.
Cut and Collect Mowers
The technology varies, we handle traditional cut-and-collect tractors, mulch mowers and zero turn mowers. Dependent upon your application and in some cases personal preference you will opt for the machine that you think is best for you.
Mulch or Collect?
One choice you will be confronted with is mulch versus bag. Do you want to collect and then dispose of your grass cuttings or do you invest in a mulch mower that has additional blades which produce very small cuttings that are not collected? The environmental lobby will always favour the mulch solution arguing that you are returning the nutrients and moisture in the clippings to the soil which is good for the grass. Keen gardeners worry about the possible build up of “thatch” due to the clippings being left on the lawn. This is not really a factor as grass leaves are around 90% water so they breakdown quickly. Whatever your preference you can see both types of machine in our showroom and try them out to satisfy yourself.
